Thanks. *Need: ETL/SSIS developer. * *Client: The State of Ohio* *Duration: Four Months – (June 1, 2009 through September 30, 2009) - possibility of extension. * *Location: Columbus, Ohio* *Pay Rate: Open but need to be completive* The purpose of this project is to build interfaces into the Eagle/PACE system to support the Total Fund Analytics (TFA) project. The TFA project is an extension of an Order Management Systems project from 2008/2009. In support of the TFA project, various benchmark data points will be captured and introduced into Eagle/PACE to meet the reporting requirements of the project. Additionally, the TFA project will use Data Management tools to ensure high quality of inbound and outbound data. * * *ETL/SSIS Developer* During the system development life cycle, the required deliverables to be completed by the ETL/SSIS Developer will include, but not be limited to, the following: Ø *ETL Components: *After receipt of detailed design specifications, the developer should be able to build ETL components within the design framework in place. Developer should be able to ask questions to clarify requirements and suggest areas of improvement for the component. The components will be built using Microsoft SSIS technology. Ø *ETL Testing: *The candidate should be able to unit test their component work with minimal supervision, producing high quality work products, requiring minimum rework. Ø *Component Scheduling: *With coordination with other team members, devise the optimum scheduling solution for the ETL work product. Scheduling will take into account system run times, vendor schedules, source and target system requirements, and current scheduling constraints and dependencies. Ø *Source Code Control:** *The candidate should be familiar with source code control concepts in a multi-developer environment. Communication will be required among all developers to ensure good source control standards are kept. Ø *Inline Documentation:** *The candidate will maintain accepted standards for documenting process and procedure inside the code components. Components will be maintained at a later time by developers and thorough documentation will be critical. The ETL/SSIS Developer will also be expected to work closely with Investments IT Programming staff and Investment Accounting staff.
