Experience in architecting and designing Microsoft applications with at least 2 year in Microsoft SharePoint or any other Portal Platform Hands-on experience on the SharePoint platform with Architecting/Designing experience on at least 3 full life cycle projects Should have knowledge of SharePoint 2007. Knowledge of other Microsoft products such as Project Server, Commerce Server, Content Management Server is a must Knowledge of competing products like Plumtree, BEA portal, SAP portal is a nice to have Experience in Requirement Analysis Strong UML experience, DB Design skills Experience in design tools like Visio, Rational Knowledge of Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture, EAI knowledge is a plus MCSD certification would be a plus In addition of technical depth and breadth, architect requires excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
