Coordinates operational designs, develops support plans and provides second and third level support for operating systems and other infrastructure componets. Typical activities: ensuring compliance with security policies, monitoring requests, adding/deleting users, loading software, analyzing user requirements and statistics to identify trends and resolve performance issues. Primary duty is to oversee and support the organization’s infrastructure systems such as File and Print Services, Network OS and Applications. Perform maintenance and support the availability and functionality of these systems. Maintenance (includes OS Patching and upgrades), implementation rollouts of new systems, L1, 2 & 3 break fix. Experience in the Financial Industry is required. Senior Windows server administrator with over 6 years experience in a financial firm. Expert in Microsoft infrastructure technologies - Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, Terminal Services, Microsoft Clustering, Systems Management Server, Microsoft Operations Manager VMware Infrastructure, Citrix Presentation Server/XenApp, EMC NetWorker, Cisco Networking gear, HP SAN gear, HP rackmount and blade servers a plus.
