*Location: Irvine {Must be local}*
*Temp $30-33/hr CTC {MAX}*
This is a BSA for the software group in Irvine. This person will be
responsible for ensuring the SmartAdvisor software package is updated
correctly for state and federal HIPPA compliance standards. Medical Billing
industry experience will be a MUST.
This person will be communicating both to the internal development staff as
well as to the client end users the compliance updates and what is different
about new standards.
In layman terms - here is what this person will do - they will monitor
changes to all laws regulating the healthcare industry and ensure that the
products are in compliance with those laws and that they are incorporated
in the software. They will be responsible for letting the internal team know
so that updates can be made as well as the client know of this so that they
are aware of this.
Candidates will need to be screened for the following questions :
1. What work experience does the candidate have in Access?
2. What is the level of experience with Medicare Part A and Part B
reimbursement guidelines?
3. Has the candidate worked on any projects to implement different
Medicare modules (like SNF, Home Health, OPPS, IPPS) within an application?
4. What is the level of expertise with State Fee Schedules guidelines? Is
the candidate familiar with all states rules and regulations or just
specific states? What are the states?
5. What type of documentation has the candidate maintained?
6. How comfortable is the candidate with offering support to internal and
external clients?
