Daily Responsibilities:
Be responsible for designing, developing, testing, documenting and delivering
software solution stacks on Linux* OS.? Your expertise in development of Linux
kernel modules preferably in the wireless networ king domain will yield high
performing, product quality software that is ready to ship to large OEMs and
ODMs.? Your balance across product objectives and Open Source will be critical
to deliver Linux based products in a corporate environment.? You will also be
responsible for debugging complex system issues across the stack including
kernel, drivers, firmware as well as user-space modules.?
Necessary Skills (Must Have):
You must possess a Master of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer
Engineering with minimum of four years or a Bachelor of Science degree with
minimum six years of experience.?
Additional qualifications include:
- Excellent SW development, debugging and testing skills in C
- At least more than three years of solid Linux* driver development experience
preferably for a networking product
- Experience in 802.?11 Linux stack would be an added advantage
- Solid experience with and in-depth understanding of Linux kernel and driver
development with special focus on networking components
- Interfacing with Linux* distributions and OEM/?ODMs for integration and issue
resolution
- Strong commitment to deliver on schedule and with high quality
- Excellent knowledge of development models in corporate teams as well as open
source
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Experience interacting with the open source community
- Experience with network protocols such as TCP, IPv4/?IPv6, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with kernel level debugging
