*Need: IT Trainer*
*Duration: 6-month + contract *
*Location: Washington, DC. *
*Rate: $20/hr {MAX}*
*Responsibilities: *
· Responsibilities will include but not be limited to writing
training manuals, maintain a training schedule and train users on the CMS
application.
*Requirements: *
· Candidate will need to have knowledge of Content Management
Systems (CMS), as well as be able to draw on the knowledge of the Content
Authors and Editors in each training group and then fill in any gaps.
· Candidate will need to be able to establish existing knowledge,
build on it and keep it relevant.
· Candidate will need to be skilled in time management, able to
follow an agreed-upon agenda and keep clear records.
· In addition, the ideal candidate will also need a variety of
listening skills including ability to paraphrase, stack a conversation, draw
people out, balance participation and make space for more reticent group
members.
· It is critical that the person in this role have the knowledge and
skill to be able to intervene in a way that adds to the group's creativity
rather than taking away from it.
· The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer
service skills.”
