The project is in Harrisburg, PA. *Details are provided below.* MUST HAVE: HP Performance Center w/VueGen experience clearly in resume. *Rate: $* *28* *.00 * *Position:* HP Performance Center Tester with Vue Gen *# of Openings:* 1 *Start Date:* ASAP *Duration:* 6 months *Location:* Harrisburg, PA (F2F is required) *Requirement Description* Engagement Type: Contract Short Description: The Tester is a member of a team which plans, constructs, and executes product tests, system tests, unit tests, load tests, volume tests, network tests as well as works with others for release control processes. Complete Description: Specific work items for the contractor from July 20, 2009 to January 22, 2010 are: - Tester 3 will participate in the design, execution, and documentation of test scenarios based on predefined functional and non-functional requirements. - Design, construct, execute, and document product tests, unit tests, system tests, load tests and volume tests, network tests as required throughout the systems development life cycle (SDLC). - Work with other cross-functional team members resolving test or systems anomalies, product performance and defects. Coordinate and conduct product retests, regression tests, and revalidation of systems functionality, reliability, and effectively support business operations. - Work with other cross-functional team members in the software release control, environment configuration and migration processes. - Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing, and end-user documentation to support on going software development and deployment initiatives. - Coordinate, out-reach engagements and training sessions to ensure DPW IVEQA developers and user populations understand how to capture and create test scenarios and then automate them in one of the many test tools used at DPW to support their business operations. - Creation of detailed test/load-test training materials and ancillary support documentation. - Assist in requirements gathering and documentation.
