Java/ADOBE Developer
Loc: TX
Duration: 6 Months(could be extended to 1 year)

Worker will perform advanced analysis, design, and programming of Adobe
Forms in conjunction with the Franchise Tax Project. Work involves
analyzing existing forms, documenting them, gathering requirements and
documenting the requirements, designing form changes, and programming form
changes. Worker will be under minimal direction of the Imaging Systems
Technical Lead for the Franchise Tax Project with considerable latitude for
the use of initiative and independent judgment. Other duties as assigned.

Experience programming with JavaScript

Experience programming forms with Adobe Acrobat Script

Experience documentation and knowledge transfer

Experience designing forms using Adobe Live Cycle Designer

Experience modifying existing XML Schemas to align with the changes in the
forms.

Experience in working with technical staff to ensure systems developed meet
the specified requirements.

Strong Analytical Skills

Ability to communicate effectively; and to plan, assign, and/or supervise
the work of others.

Experience generating 2D barcodes on Adobe Forms

Experience in identifying improvement opportunities that result in either
time or cost savings and greater efficiencies.
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
III. TERM OF SERVICE
Services are estimated to start as soon as possible and go through August
31, 2009. Total estimated Worker hours shall not exceed 168 hours. This
service may be amended, renewed and/or extended providing both parties agree
in writing to do so.
