It's not the comment header, I think, but rather the 'Database connect'
message that fouls things up. There isn't anything in the admin site that
does this (on purpose), and there are no code-compat templates that would
beat code-global to the punch. Can it be something in the MySQL
configuration that makes it more verbose?
