Yes, and I redid the database with the install script, copied the
configuration file into my httpd.conf and it seems to be working,
the only problem I have now is that I cannot seem to find the images for the
admin and example sites. It looks they are not packed with the
beta release :( Will download 1.2.5 to get them.

If you disable mod_midgard and/or libphp3.so in you r apache config,
does
the problem go away?
