I picked up the harsh croak of a RAVEN on my monitor and got outside to see
this magnificent flyer do his not to ever be routine crossing over my yard.

Also, picked up the whining call of a YELLOW-BELLIED SAPSUCKER as it visited
my suet feeder.

There was an adult BALD EAGLE perched in a tall cottonwood tree across the
river.

I was stopped at a traffic light on Delaware Avenue in Albany and watched a
SHARP-SHINNED HAWK fly up to a utility wire ahead of me. I managed to get a
few photos through the windshield. I'll post them on hmbirds yahoo site.
