Thursday, 11 March 2010 The Great Vly, Saugerties Several Rusty Blackbirds were vocalizing this afternoon along the southern most end of The Great Vly WMA in Saugerties. Out in the marsh were 12+ Hooded Mergansers, Ring-necked Ducks, a few Black Ducks and Mallards, and 6 Wood Ducks. A pair of Bluebirds were checking out a tree cavity near the parking area.
