On the way home from dinner this evening (Friday) we found a Barred Owl sitting on the telephone wire at the intersection of Smith and Netherwood Roads. This is about .5 from my house, and about 200 feet from a chicken farm. I often hear barreds calling late night / early morning, but very seldom get to see them.
