Greeting All, A Eurasian Collared-Dove spent about an hour around the Forsyth Nature Center (FNC) in Kingston this morning (April 21). The bird was very vocal and showed flight courtship display before disappearing for the day. On a possibly related note two Eurasian Collared-Doves were at the FNC last October and I was dismissive in their treatment as many birds and animals have been left at the center (from chickens to a white-tailed fawn). None of these birds were banded. Make what you'd like of this sighting.
