Greetings All, Great Horned Owl, four flyover Common Loons, Orchard Oriole, and a small flock of Blackpoll Warblers were observed at Kingston Point this morning during the FNC's warbler walk. In the late afternoon took a quick look for yesterday's Sandhill Cranes without luck. I stopped briefly at the state land on Old Dutchtown Road in High Woods and pished in a nice mixed flock in one Hemlock that including Bay-breasted, Magnolia, Northern Waterthrush, Black-throated Blue and Green, Chestnut-sided, American Redstart, Yellow-rumped, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Indigo Bunting, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, and Red-eyed Vireo. Stopped down the road on Glasco Turnpike at a powerline cut near Carle Road for five minutes and added Prairie and my FOS Mourning Warbler.
Good Birding, Mark DeDea [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
