Today was the only decent day I could get out this week with my camera, so I decided on Peach Hill Park. I guess they recently installed several benches all throughout the park, which is nice.
Today's color scheme was like autumn with all the yellow, orange, and red colored birds I spotted. Yellow warblers, orange orioles & red... scarlet tanagers! Well, one tanager, that is. :) Today's sightings (between 4:00 pm & 6:30 pm): - 1 Red Tailed Hawk - 4 Mourning Doves - 1 Northern Flicker - 3 Eastern Phoebes - 2 Eastern Kingbirds - 5 Blue Jays - 4 American Crows - 3 Tree Swallows - 2 Black Capped Chickadees - 2 House Wrens - 2 Eastern Bluebirds - 12 American Robins - 30+ Gray Catbirds - 3 Northern Mockingbirds - 3 Blue Winged Warblers - 16 Yellow Warblers - 1 Prairie Warbler - 1 Scarlet Tanager (male, also first sighting for me) - 1 Chipping Sparrow - 4 Field Sparrows - 4 Song Sparrows - 3 Northern Cardinals - 8 Red Winged Blackbirds - 3 Baltimore Orioles (2 male, 1 female) - 5 American Goldfinches
