Greetings All, Approximately 30 shorebirds were present on the "pond" on Denniston Road near the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail access in the Town of Shawangunk. The majority of birds were Lesser Yellowlegs but there were quite a few Solitary and Spotted Sandpipers along with Greater Yellowlegs, Least Sandpipers, Semipalmated Plovers, and of course Killdeer.
