Just a note: this is not the complete list. I went with another RTWBC member who took down the count. Since I do not know my calls too well as of yet, I just looked for movement in the thickets, brushy areas & treetops to help contribute with less vocal birds.
Just from photographs alone (took 300+ photos), highlights include: - 9 different Warblers (Yellow, Blue-Winged, Chestnut-Sided, Prairie, Redstart, Magnolia, Wilson's, Blackburnian, & Common Yellowthroat) - Baltimore Oriole - Bobolinks (looks like 8 females in one photo) - Carolina Wrens (1 adult & 3 young) - Indigo Bunting - Killdeer - Rose Breasted Grosbeak - Ruby Throated Hummingbird - Scarlet Tanager - Solitary Sandpipers (2 at the farm, 2 more at the campus) - Spotted Sandpiper (1 in woods near stream on campus) - Swainson's Thrush - Wood Duck ducklings (saw 8 or 9, only 4 came out of hiding briefly) I am currently prepping the better photos to upload to the group for all to see. This was my first time participating in the count, and it was awesome.
