A flock of about 150 Brant flew north right over the Saugerties Lighthouse
at 6:45 PM, followed by two Greater Yellowlegs. Quite a few gulls - mostly
ring-billed - were also heading north at the time. Blackpolls were singing
all over the area and there was one Yellow-rumped Warbler. Also Northern
Waterthrush and Veery still there, and I heard a flycatcher singing
"Re-Peet" which I think was the Alder Flycatcher.

Earlier on land adjoining the Esopus Bend NP a bunch of Am Crows were making
a ruckus. I checked to make sure they weren't harassing any Barred Owlets
but instead they were bothering a gorgeous Red Fox. Man they can make a lot
of noise.
