Got back from Kennebunkport, Maine on Sunday... ready for some more local birding! I decided to run off some of the seafood consumed on vacation on the Dutchess Rail Trail & this was what I saw/heard:
- 2 American Goldfinch - 1 Black-Capped Chickadee - 7 Yellow Warblers - 2 House Wrens - 1 Carolina Wren - 2 Mourning Doves - 1 Ruby Throated Hummingbird - 8 Catbirds - 3 Cardinals - 4 Robins - 3 Wood Thrush - 1 Red Tailed Hawk - 4 Canadian Geese Hoping for some serious birding this coming weekend (I missed Vassar Farm!), pending the weather.
