I went to Vassar Farm after work and I saw a total of 4 brown thrashers! 2 adults were chasing each other near the community gardens (got a photo of one of them). I continued through the gate to the fields and headed towards the eco ponds.
Once I turned onto the eco ponds trail, there were two more, but one was a little smaller than the other adult. They both proceeded to hop along the trail (they didn't fly off), at which point I tried my best to get a few photos. The smaller thrasher's eye was not a bright yellow like the adults. After a few shots, they hopped off the trail. I wanted to give everyone a heads up if anyone is going there this weekend. I will post the best picture (as well as others from today) on my blog. A full sighting list is currently being compiled.
