Interesting how Lift and Ubet, as common carriers, seem to have the "right" to charge congestion pricing at rates that can be at times oppressive. It makes me think about price gouging, generally considered illegal, during times of a crisis. Why should customers have to pay a premium above the reasonable cost of providing the transportation service?
