We've had a robust discussion of this topic so I was interested in this AvWeek article on the subject. Isom said it was inappropriate to use it against consumers.
The software company used by Delta says it prices fares, not consumers and has zero private information BUT, the article does explain it can by readily available personal data. But as we all know here in Mifnetland, if one carrier gets a competitive advantage by raising revenues 5-6%, they'll all come round to doing the same thing!
