I would take “a little” issue with the description of Alaska’s lounge food as exceptional. I’m also a long-time Alaska club member, and I visit Delta lounges frequently as well. The food selections in the “premier” Alaska lounge upstairs from the “N” gates at SEA are indeed pretty exceptional. It’s a great lounge! At JFK and LAX “pretty good” or maybe “good” would be the best accolade I could give, and at PDX the food options are limited and subpar, although apparently a much bigger and better lounge is in the works at PDX.
IMHO, Delta’s larger clubs are generally better in terms of food options and quality than Alaska’s, although some smaller DL lounges leave a lot to be desired.
I do concur 100% on the overcrowding situation!

 I am a long time Alaska Lounge member. From my experience, I consider this a good value for me as I travel frequently to/from their lounge located airports. However, in the last year or so, the lounges have often been so crowded that it was a bit difficult to find seats.Still, it is better than gate seating and the food is exceptional.
