An ATC strike is planned for the LIRR/Roma FIR on Wed Dec 17 between 13-17LT (12-16Z). As with other 4-hour strikes, intercontinental flights and overflights are not expected to be affected (LIRR Notam E2845/25), but expect delays for other flights in and out of airports in the region. ENAC has published the list of guaranteed airline flights that will operate during the strike. In addition to ATC, airline staff will also be on strike, including aircrew from Vueling and easyJet, ground staff from Air France and KLM, and workers at ITA Airways. Ground handling disruption is likely nationwide, with staff from Assohandlers member companies also on strike at several Italian airports.
