 It's too bad that if you already have an Advantage account you must still 
listen to the "...special offer on this flight only..." marketing while you are 
trapped in the tube. I haven't tried it but I think you must join Advantage 
even if you're willing to pay for internet on that flight. Damned annoying.

Busy week for flying for me. Down to Miami for the long weekend, but then up to 
Chicago for a company meeting.
 
  
 
Discovered that American now offers free Wifi to AAdvantage members, if you’re 
willing to watch a short ad for ATT wireless. Arte other airlines offering wifi 
free to their frequent flyers?


Also discovered a movie called Three Guys Named Mike, a romantic comedy 
starring Jane Wyman as a flight attendant for guess who – American.  Post WWII, 
with ground shots of AA planes – 2 engine and DC-6s.  Airial shots were clearly 
models.
 
  
 
Plot line is Jane Wyman meets three guys named Mike who fall in love with her:  
(1) Pilot played by Howard Keal; (2) graduate research assistant and would-be 
college professor played by Van Johnson; and (3) advertising executive played 
by Barry Sullivan.
 
  
 
There was even an actor playing CR Smith.
 
  
 
Obviously made with the full cooperation of American.
 
  
 
I won’t tell you which one ends up with Jane Wyman, in case anyone wants to 
watch it on their next AA flight.
