I am seeing complaints from the small-aircraft GA community about a proposed requirement that all aircraft equipped with ADS-B/Out must add ADS-B/In capability. The argument seems to be that this would impose a high cost on small-plane GA.
I seem to recall some years back articles saying that many small GA aircraft were already equipped with some kind of receiver for ADS-B/In. Can any Mifnet GA experts explain what this is, assuming it's for real? Thanks, Bob Poole
