Thank you to all who participated! We had a big group this time. It felt
like lots of technical traction and interchange occurred. Stories were
updated in Mingle and the Issue Tracker.

It just occurred to me that the transcript needn't be mailed around if
we had an IRC logbot. Anyone want to set this up? Maybe we could host
the archived logs on one of the mifos.org servers.

Here's one potential logbot:

complex as other stories.
(10:03:35 AM) ravi_kutaphale: compared to other stories there is not
much effort involved for this issue
(10:04:08 AM) meonkeys: I tend to agree with you. Any other of the 5's
care to comment?
(10:04:24 AM) keithrp: I don't have a good feel for the relative
complexity and will defer to others. I'd probably stick with 5 because
of it
(10:04:32 AM) vanmh: I need to drop off...
(10:04:57 AM) keithrp: I need to drop off too.

(10:05:16 AM) meonkeys: mparlion: Yes, good point.
(10:05:29 AM) meonkeys: ravi_kutaphale: can we talk you into 5?
(10:06:10 AM) ravi_kutaphale: ok, but just want to mention that the hbm
file dont need to be changed..
(10:06:35 AM) mparlion: the code will work
(10:06:45 AM) mparlion: but to avoid using diferrent cases
(10:06:54 AM) ravi_kutaphale: ok we take ot to 5 but we also write a
standards document for all sql
(10:07:07 AM) mparlion: you should change them
(10:07:56 AM) ravi_kutaphale: i mean with 5 we include a task to write a
standards doc
(10:08:20 AM) meonkeys: ravi_kutaphale: you mentioned the .hbm.xml files
don't need to be changed. I think I agree that is the case if you
standardize on uppercase for all table names and column names. Do you
agree?
(10:09:36 AM) meonkeys: and I like the idea of a document outlining
standards for SQL (DML) in Mifos; this should be added to the existing
coding standards:
http://mifos.org/developers/technical-orientation/mifos-database-development
(10:09:44 AM) ravi_kutaphale: Yes I agree.
(10:09:54 AM) mparlion: yes, as proposed in the Dublin workshop
(10:10:13 AM) ravi_kutaphale: I think most people are not folowing the
standards.. so we need to enforce them..
(10:10:30 AM) meonkeys: right.
(10:10:46 AM) ravi_kutaphale: I saw some code and everyone follow their
own coding standards..
(10:11:01 AM) meonkeys: ok then, 5 it is. I'll update the story in
