Jim, per your suggestion I took a quick look at profiling Mayfly. I cloned my CVS working copy and updated the clone directory tree to the 2007-07-06 snapshot. I had to patch build.xml to include the profile-test target found in the HEAD build.xml. Here's exactly what I changed: http://adammonsen.com/tmp/mayfly/profile_old_snapshot.patch
I also dropped the JIP JAR in test/lib. It seemed to work.
