Arpita,
Regarding my comment "- Review screen shows table with loan cycles - it
appears quite wide given the numbers." I was just commenting that while
reviewing the loan product, the table that shows the loan cycles has a
wide format that appears quite wide for the width of the data in each
column.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

Thanks a lot for the template/example on "Loan Defaults".We'll go
through
it in detail and modify the front end test cases on similar format
shortly
and shall revert back to you in case of any further queries.
Well, you rightly observed the irregularities in the feature. Even I
could
reproduce these on the test server. I've logged the issues for the same.
However, unfortunately I didn't understand fully your first comment
"Review
screen shows table with loan cycles". About the other two, I had few
more
obervations which are:

1. The change log does not report any changes made in the loan product
information in any type of loan. The problem is not restricted to only
installments of Loans By Cycle. (Refer issue # 1653)
2. There is an irregularity in the usage of lower and uppercase letters
in
the "Enter Loan Product Information" page. "By loan Cycle" should indeed
be
"By loan cycle". But simialrly, I also noticed that "By last loan
Amount"
should ideally be "By last loan amount" (Refer Issue # 1652)

Hi Arpita,
I didn't get a chance to review these test cases today, but please see
the
attached example for Loan Defaults. I watched Aliya use the feature for
a
few minutes today and we came up with a list of scenarios. By all
means,
this isn't a complete list, however it does mention some of the testing
variables for this feature - for example, the combinations of Loan
Amount
and Installments; client and group loan products, creation of loan
products, editing existing loan products, creating new loans, etc.

As you will see, I only created test cases based on the first scenario,
so
there could be quite a list of test cases for this complicated feature.

While writing these test cases, I noticed a couple of things about the
feature - I can post them in the issue tracker unless one of you would
like
to do it while I'm sleeping :)

- Review screen shows table with loan cycles - is appears quite wide
given
the numbers.
- Change log is not reporting edits to loan product when # of
installments
by loan cycle is changed.
- inconsistent case on UI - "loan Cycle?" Should Cycle be cycle
instead?

Regards,
Jeff
