Hello Garry,

I apologize for the late reply (although it looks like you had sent this
quite a long time ago, but only got delivered a few days ago).

Reading over this, this looks more like your validations for your upcoming
data migrations? Is that correct? If so, we are close to putting all of
our data migration validation plans together, at which point I can share
with you some of the reports/tests we plan on running.

Otherwise, this looks like a good strategy although I would be interested to
know what exact reports you¹ll be using for your validation? Can you be a
bit more specific about this?

Another thing you might consider is determining all the different states of
the data, finding examples of each and comparing those against each other.
Ie, for a customer you might find examples for: Active, Blacklisted,
Closed, Active with an Active Group Loan, Active with a Active Individual
Loan, etc.

Just to be clear though I would not consider this an ³UAT², or at least how
we¹ve been using the term here at Mifos. We use UATs (ie, User Acceptance
Tests for anyone unfamiliar with the term) for having the client verify that
Mifos works as expected and there are no major issues (either in the form of
bugs or problems integrating with their processes). For example, at ENDA we
created a suite of tests for each role, covering all the major actions they
might take.
