To add a bit more information—Mifos tracks loan cycle at 2 levels. One is at
the general client level—and as Jeff says, when defining a loan product you can
mark to have it increment this loan cycle counter. In addition, Mifos also
tracks loan cycle at a per product level… You can view both of these on the
performance metrics box.

Let us know if you have any additional questions,

Emily.

Subject: RE: [Mifos-functional] Question: Loan Cycle Counter

Garry,

I believe you are asking if the option to Include the Loan Cycle Counter is
specific to each loan product, or a general setting for all loans? The loan
counter applies to each loan product, so you can enabled it for one product,
but leave it disabled for a different loan product.

Regards,

Jeff

Subject: [Mifos-functional] Question: Loan Cycle Counter

Hi,

Question: Does the "Include in Loan cycle counter" in the definition of "Loan
Product/Loan product details" means a loan cycle will be attributed in the each
loan product being define? OR will it continue counting the loan cycle
regardless of the loan product each time a client apply for a loan?

Thanks,
