I believe there is some issue with encoding when PPI surveys with extended
characters are loaded on a Windows platform. I was just viewing the Senegal
survey on my Windows machine that has strings like:
Quel est le matériau des murs de la maison?
in the PPISurveySENEGAL2009.xml
However, when I view this Question in Mifos, I get the string appearing as:
Quel est le matériau des murs de la maison?
See attached screenshot. I believe this is why the PPI India survey is
occuring - with the mangling of each extended character, we're exceeding the
question text limit.
Going to raise priority on this issue.
