I have tried joining Group Footer with the Details but with no success. The
layout of a report depends on number of records in the database. If there were
more data, more clients, the clients will be on the next page with the
subtotal. If there were less data, the subtotal will fit on the same page. I
doubt it is possible to prevent the split. There is a property avoid-page-break
but it only applies to single section (e.g. it won't split Group Footer in half
between two pages).
