Keith Pierce commented on MIFOSWEB-26: -------------------------------------- Nitpicks are fixed -- try it out at beta.mifos.org. About teasers? Ed, can you explain the problem in more detail? In my fix, images no longer spill into the next teaser. When editing a news post you can either accept the default 1600-character cutoff, or manually set a break in the editor. If 1600 is too long, it can be changed from the GUI (Administer -> Content -> Node Settings). If there's another problem, let me know and we'll fix it :) > Style Community Newslog section to have more distinct look and feel of a blog > ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: MIFOSWEB-26 > URL: http://mifosforge.jira.com/browse/MIFOSWEB-26 > Project: Mifos Websites > Issue Type: Task > Reporter: edcable > Assignee: Keith Pierce > Attachments: newslog.jpg > > > Keith, > Perhaps we could chat for a few minutes about what are easy and feasible CSS > style changes and layout edits we could make to the community newslog to make > it feel more unique and distinct from the rest of content on mifos.org. I > would like for it to have a more clean and simple look like a blog. > Proposed changes I have in mind: > Main Body > 1) Edit style applied to header removing underline > 2) Apply a blue dotted line or border around each post to separate individual > posts in the main view > 3) Create a more well defined and organized teaser. Right now I just posts > being cut at 1600 characters or so and wondering if there's a more orderly > teaser we could set up as right now some text/images cut into subsequent posts > 4) Read more link. > 5) Stylize Header at top to be distinct from other headers throughout site. > Sidebar > 1) Add a subscribe button at the top > 2) Remove other portlets (i'll do) > 3) Add Monthly Archive/Category view. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WhatsUp Gold - Download Free Network Management Software The most intuitive, comprehensive, and cost-effective network management toolset available today.
