The newest Mifos version from the g-release branch does not allow to log in

After deploying the newest mifos.war from the g-release branch (for example
https://ci.mifos.org/hudson/job/head-g-release-archive/110/org.mifos$mifos-war/artifact/org.mifos/mifos-war/1.9-SNAPSHOT/mifos.war)
the server starts without any exceptions, but after logging in there is a
blank page.
I believe this is related to the recent REST API changes.
