As I couldn't actually find a JIRA New Feature issue for this yet, I'm entering
this one.
MIFOS-4919, my "Executable WAR", should be the basis for this - IMHO. -- My
personal favorite (now having the executable WAR) would probably be the
http://launch4j.sourceforge.net route here - not really an "Installer" at all,
just something to address the launch, just something to avoid the -Xmx/-XX CLI
args to java -jar mifos.war, and may be a the JRE download (otherwise it could
simply be a mifos.bat/mifos.sh).
Personally I think this will only really make sense / add true value once we
have MIFOS-4926, although of course the two are technically unrelated, and this
one could be done before / independent of MIFOS-4926.
