Having discussed with you on the call its clear you want to have 'collection
functionality' to ease input of data into the system for the two scenarios you
presented and that these are different enough from the current functionality
that you have the following options:
1. Re-create a new UI screen for collection sheet (not touching existing one)
that can still talk to the same back end service
- see
org.mifos.application.servicefacade.CollectionSheetServiceFacadeWebTier.getCollectionSheet
- see org.mifos.application.servicefacade.CollectionSheetDto (cleaner data
representation of collection sheet)
If the data provided by backend service is not along the lines of what you want
you can:
2. Create Query for getting data you want invoke this from a new service method
passing back data as you want for display on new ui screen. You will also have
to create a new service that handles this submit also and tie it with existing
backend functionality for handling transactions (loan/savings etc)
Both of these options will require use to add some configuration option for
enabling this new 'collection' approach needed by you whereby the existing
approach will always be the default.
