You have to make sure you have GLIM and LSIM set to on (we don't use centers)
the problem is when approving loans using the (approve loans in Bulk Feature)
if you approve loans one by one you don't face this problem
it seems that as of Mifos 2.3 and on
Individual Clients in groups have their account_state_ids updated according to
the group loan state.
meaning when a group loan is disbursed the account state is updated to 5 and
the same happens to the individual group clients inside this group
this case wasn't in versions prior to 2.3
so if you approve group loans using the change account state, the individual
accounts are updated, if you use the bulk approval, they aren't
