In the current client search (which I know currently has 2 options for demo purposes) can we add the ability to select an office so that the search only applies to clients underneath that office's hierarchy?
Mifos X already 'data scopes' so that you only retrieve data 'under' the office/branch you are attached to.
This means this functionality is irrelevant to people who are attached to a 'branch' as they will only be searching in their branch. In that case (where the office "dropdown" has only 1 entry - don't bother showing the dropdown).
So, its really only for people in head offices (or area offices) that want to limit their search to an office "lower down" the hierarchy than their default.
The dropdown would default to the "top one" and would affect both the text box search and the drop down we currently have.
For now, (unless you want to look at other ways of fixing this) -- still writing this
