Fiscal accounting period is crucial to any MIS & accounting system. Hence there
a. System should support to add fiscal calender year
b. Should be able to add the calender months (12) for the given fiscal year. (April to March in case of India & Jan to Dec in Europe)
c. Every month should carry a status as "New", "Open" & "Close"
d. One calender month should be set as default.
Financial transactions will be posted to the default calender period with status as "Open"
By default the value date of the posting will be system date of the given month.
If a user wants to post backdated transactions then the value date should be set as True for the specific date.
