Ashok,

The first thing I would do is ask GK this and what approach was taken in mifos 2.6.x in this scenario.

You would think that it would be best to put this in the users hand - ok you disbursed on date x but hey look, you are using the 'meeting' concept and want to synch up with meeting dates of the center. That means repayments will most likely start on either x, y or z so which one is it?

So in the scenarios you gave above, the 'next day' scenario is not likely, you wouldnt give someone a loan and expect them to start payment back next day, even a gap of 3-4 days is not enough, I suspect it would have to be a rule like 'nearest meeting date' at least one week after disbursement.

The other question that comes in of course is 'interest calculation' - from what date should interest be calculated, the disbursement date? if so then for a 24 week loan how do i deal with the first interest calculation which is 9/10 days after disbursement date (cause thats more than a week)

So you need concrete real world examples from GK that covers this type of scenario which shows the disbursement date, loan schedule and the principal/interest breakdown for the loan.
