This issues was reported by Ernest Nartey on his PPGF test cloud instance. I confirmed the same issue on our public demo server.
For clients in the pending state, unable to activate and get presented with this error message:
You have the following errors:
validation.msg.client.activatedOnDate.cannot.be.blank
(see attached screenshot)
Steps to repro:
1) Add a new client, enter all corresponding details - don't check the active box
2) Navigate to this new client and click "Activate" - select any date and submit
3) Error displayed.
When activating a client through the initial new client workflow (checking "Active" box and selecting date) there are no issues.
