A client may want to make a bulk payment and give instructions to the staff as to how it is to be allocated to different accounts.
For example: Client pays 4,000 of which: a) 756.15 goes as repayment for 1st loan b) 1245.60 goes as repayment for 2nd loan c) 1000 goes as deposit to savings account 1 d) Remaining amount (998.25) goes as deposit to savings account 2
The staff will now have to click on 4 separate accounts and do separate transactions and use an excel sheet / calculator to decide how much money gets split across each of them. This is time consuming and the client will end up waiting in front of the staff for a longer time.
A bulk transaction screen would help to speed up such types of transactions.
What is needed is to create a bulk payment screen - a) which will accept loan repayments for multiple loan accounts - loan due amount is to be pre-populated b) which will accept savings deposits for multiple savings accounts c) which will allow payment details to be captured (common) for all these transactions d) Calculate and show sum of all transactions (to be done as the user enters each amount and tabs out of each amount field) e) Submit all the transaction in one go - but in the backend they will be different transactions
