Currently, if the last installment amount is less than 50% of the installment amount, then it gets added to the previous installment. This was done so that we can avoid having a small amount for the last installment.
I would suggest to add a global new product level configuration (c_configuration) : name: Include- "Threshold for including last -loan-inst- Installment in - previous -inst-threshold installment (%)". value: This would be defaulted to 50 (%) for existing products during upgrades. This is to ensure existing functionality is not impacted. enabled: 1 description If this configuration is greater than zero : Specified in percentage. If the last installment is less than or equal to this percentage value of the regular previous installment amount, then the last installment amount will be added to the previous installment and there . There will be no amount due for the last installment due .
If this configuration is not enabled, then existing functionality continues. If enabled, then do the following processing: If the last installment is less than or equal set to this percentage of the regular installment amount zero , then the last installment amount will never be added to combined with the previous installment and there will be no even if the last installment in the repayment schedule amount is of a very small value .
