Sorry for not responding earlier.
I don't have any great ideas about how to handle this in Mifos. You're
the first MFI I've heard of that disburses both weekly and monthly loans
to the same client-so it's not a scenario we build Mifos to handle. The
only idea I have is that you could create two clients-one with weekly
and one with monthly schedules. However, there are issues with this
approach-you'd have to build your reports so that they don't double
count clients and you'd need to print out two collection sheets-one for
monthly and one for weekly-and enter in the collection sheet data
separately.
Out of curiousity, what % of your clients receive monthly loans?
Perhaps others in the community have better ideas.

Hi,
Can anyone suggest how to disburse monthly & weekly loan products to a
same client with weekly meeting schedule. The monthly repayment will be
collected on the meeting day nearest to the disbursement date for the
next schedule. That means if the weekly meeting schedule is on Monday
and monthly loan is disbursed on 15th of a month, then the monthly loan
schedule will generate nearest Monday to 15th of every month.
