Dusmant, BIRT supports the user of parameters which should not be that difficult to integrate into your report. Have you tried

A series of input parameters, called cascading parameters, can dynamically filter, or constrain, the next option's possible values. The Collection Sheet Report uses cascading paramters. Did you try that and it did not work? Are you sure you are uploading it as a report and not an Administrative Document? (Administrative documents do not support parameters other a select few passed by the system).
