Hi Deependra Yes that is possible. But like you said, it will break any future upgrades and if future releases have features you'd like to have then you would probably need work to port those changes over depending on the customizations you have made.
If any customizations you are thinking of might benefit the community, it'd be great to share that with everyone as others could benefit as well from your work. Depending on several factors (quality of code and design, usability by other MFI's, etc), if your customizations could be a patch that can be applied to Mifos, we could look at applying that patch to the core Mifos release as well.
