Hello all, I thought I would jump in on this discussion. Mifos has some support built in for currencies but I don't think its been fully built out yet so for now that feature isn't so important (but that may change with the next release).
In practice, it doesn't matter what you set that too as long as you set the rounding rules for your currency of choice. In other words, I would probably just leave it as is.
