Hello Maina,
Can you some more details about your scenario? It's not quite clear where you
are in Mifos when you say "open a savings account when registering a new
client".
If you could describe the navigation step by step, that would be very helpful.
For example, click on Clients&Accounts tab, click Create new Client link, etc.
A screenshot is sometimes helpful as well.

You have to open another account for the client by going to client account
-àopen savings account
However, if you want to close the same account you can't as there is an active
savings account. i.e. the one you opened while opening the account. Is there a
way around this?
